Boylan is known to gardai but is not thought to be a major operator in the crime trade.

His convicted armed robber father Noel, 44, is a known associate of exiled cartel boss Christy Kinahan, 63, as well as a number of other gangland figures involved in smaller feuds in west Dublin.
