C.IRA claiming responsibility will be a disaster for Sinn Fein.

The CIRA claim sounds very dodgy.
A few things don’t add up.
The C.IRA claim it, done in retaliation for the Real IRA which is a bit weird.
Sinn Fein have been taking a beating the last week or so.
Plus the gun men where overheard saying they couldn’t find their intended target.
Allegedly over heard by somebody who was understandably probably panicked.
The ak47s are reported to be a distinct Romanian version that were used by Sinn Fein/IRA
No doubting the guns were ex-IRA. I’m sure there’s a fair few of them unaccounted for.
Why would the CIRA be taking revenge on the behalf of the RIRA? Why wait 4 years?

I assume CIRA are involved in crime too.
Interesting timing and the claim has to be aimed at embarrassing Sinn Fein before Slab is sentenced and in week SF called for abolition of SCC

I really doubt the SF statement on the SCC had anything to do with the timing of this attack.
But it might suit all sides involved for the CIRA to claim responsibility at this point in time.
