71 points was a decent enough haul considering the players downed tools for 5-6 games in September/October before Nuno was sacked.
We were a comfortable 3rd if you took a league table from the time Coach Conte took over until the end of the season, even with some truly awful results like losing at home to Southampton, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brighton & Hove Albion and losing at Old Trafford and Turfmoor.
We scored 47 league goals since 1 January. Only Citeh with 48 scored more. Romero, Bentancur and Kulusevski have done well as new signings.
Some shrewd investment in players over the summer and we could have even challenge for the title next season.
