Tour De France 2012

He most certainly has not.

I’m working til around 1.30 today so would appreciate updates from anybody watching it with particular reference to Irish lads, Nibali and Brajkovic.

Anyone got any idea where Schleck’s removal from the tour leaves the overall team standings at? I’ve backed Sky at the start and they were still available at 7/1 last night.

Disgusted by Schleck, but no surprise to see a Johan Bruyneel rider be the one caught out, would love to see that man chased from the sport.

But be in no doubt, this is the cleanest tour in decades. It’s noticeable how the peloton are cracking on even category 3 climbs, something that wouldn’t have happened in years past. And look at how weary Voekler was when he finished his stage victory.

Schleck’s positive test is a blow but it shouldn’t overshadow the sterling work that has been done to clean up the sport, over 200 guys started the tour so if Schleck is the only positive test taken that would mean less than .5% of riders are doping, a number that would have been unthinkable a few short years ago.

Hopefully Liquigas and BMC ride at the front today and try and blow sky out of the water. If they can get rid of Rogers, Porte and EBH early it could make for an interesting today. It is also going to be very hot today.

Voeckler go on the attack again, he really is value for money.

A group of about 38 over 3 minutes up the road on the foot of the Col d’Aubisque including Kessiakoff and Voeckler who look like they will be battling it out for the KOM jersey, Dan Martin in the group.

Thanks Sandy. Friend Of The Forum Jonathan Vaughters has just tweeted Dan Martin will win the stage.

  :pint:

Some lad who was juiced up to the gills couldn’t even get into the Top 10.

Yet Larry still continues to believe that those in front of him are “clean”

You going to take me up on that 5/1 bet or what tdb?

On what basis would you pay out ?? If winner fails a test ?

Voeckler 25 points, Kessiakoff 20 points over the top of the d’Aubisque, the Swede is 27 points ahead in the race for the polka dot jersey.

Breakaway 5’27 ahead as the start the Tourmalet, Dan Martin looking comfortable in the group.

Just legalise drugs, it’ll just make things easier on everyone.

That’s it Flano. They’re all on something so legalise the lot and let the best drugs win.

Just in to see the start of the Col du Tourmalet. Hopefully this is where the action starts.

Could all the nancy boys just on here to put down the sport, do one.
