Does this mean his tour is pretty much fucked?
He was already 3 mins behind Nibali so effectively 7 now on the road. Worst though is the injuries. He obviously slid on his back going by the blood and his legs looked bad too. He may limit damage today but also may get more leeway in next big mountain days.
Astana going to the front for first time today and pushing on is not great form. Wouldn’t expect anything else.
