Time will tell but I think you are seriously underestimating the Chinese here mate. Their centralised economy can take a lot of hits and they can and are switching to other countries for food imports. Not as easy to find markets for exports but since the US are engaged in trade wars all over the shop it’ll be easier for China to get a leg in.
US will suffer massively as well in the meantime, everything will get more expensive.

No it’s actually pretty important. China will clearly eventually have a larger GDP, but they still won’t be the economic super power the US are. The US will still have elements like Finance that China just will not have. The US will still have the military and geopolitical advantages.

Your post suggested China are on the verge of overtaking them, they are still a mile off pal.
