:rofl::rofl: Nice one.

Yeah I’ve done it - tame enough. You get a bus from the visitors centre at ashtown castle/playground across to it.
The Farmleigh one is probably better

Well did you like it up the Aras?

Getting shown around the number one house in the country by a fucking yank 5 minutes out of college who called the GPO GOP.

Opw need sorting out. Fair play to the gardener though who was very informative.

What did the gardener say?

Don’t spread the bagstuff in warm, sunny weather. It’ll need rain and plenty of it.

That kind of stuff :wink:

Mary Mc installed bird boxes while she was there.
I see Micheál has installed two wheelchair ramps.

Not a huge change so over the 4 Presedential terms - 28 years in total.

The next up will probably install a clatter of solar panels. Don’t hold your breath mind…

  • There is a system of tunnels that lead out from the Áras that were built by the Brits. No one knows where they lead, bar the Brits. Houses around Phoenix Park have had sink holes, which were apart of the tunnel system. They were only discovered four years ago.
  • Mo Mowlan suggested to Mary McAleese to open the gardens for a tour, McAleese obliged.
  • There’s a huge oak tree in the garden that is slanted badly. Opw were gonna cut it down, McAleese said no, it’s been up 100’s of years. Still there to this day.
  • There was a whippit brought in to shoo away Squirrels, that is owned by Michael D’s son John. John lives in Coolcotts (Wexford town), married to my uncles niece.
