Travel agents and airlines: Cunts

At the moment that is the case

Also bear in mind that currently if you travel to the UK from Spain, you’re legally required to quarantine for 2 weeks.
This doesn’t seem to have occurred to John bull yet.

Ok @Mac & @flattythehurdler - Hypothetically lets say fly direct Dublin to Reus then return is (whenever) Reus - UK airport - Irish airport; What restrictions are imposed on the return journey?

Dunno, but I’d be careful transiting through the UK this week. Doubt it’ll hold though.
It’s very hard to know.
Even if still in place I’m sure it’ll be ok, but Priti I’d thick as a ditch and could do anything.

You’d need to quarantine for 2 weeks in Ireland as you’ve landed in Ireland on an international flight

I’m looking at booking last week July and 1st week August. The resort we go to is taking bookings but pure kids paradise so if any craic like Social Distancing is going to be implemented its game over.

Crikey so we’re definitely imposing that on UK and not Visa Versa, what if I got creative and used Belfast to fly in and out?

I can see an outflux in September. Any earlier is still risky as to what you are landing into on way over or way back. Hotels are just going to be opening end of June in Spain. Queuing for a hour and a half in the heat to buy a bottle of water or coffee due to social distancing?

Travel insurance won’t cover Covid 19 now I presume if you get turned away at airport or get sick with it.

Sanguli?

Cambrils!

We did SangulĂ last year. Booked before we left for this year. Moved the booking to same dates next year - first two weeks July. Best kids holiday I have
done. Apart from nearly being killed by a taxi driver having a siesta while he drove us.

I was looking earlier today at around end of August to book for this year. It’s tempting.

Take a test drive up there next week

At the moment, when you land in a UK airport you need to give an address where you’ll quarantine for 14 days, unless it’s a domestic or ROI flight. Belfast would seem a bit of a loophole alright but I assume they’ll find a way to close that.

Did Sanguli 2 years ago and was superb, Cambrills better suited to younger families. There’s no camping and no traffic and food restaurants choices are superior.
Amphitheater in Sanguli for night time entertainment is superior to Cambrils though.

Can you book the hotel with free cancellation

Thanks, goin to keep my eye on Port action too - Rosslare to Roscoff gives loads of options at late July too.

Hotels usually yes but these resorts are all singing and all dancing (literally) so a bit more punitive on cancellations.

Is it much cheaper than usual

Resort accommodation holding solid it seems , your talkin €350/400 per night at peak - Flights however right now seem extremely reasonable which doesnt sit well.

Room only, or any kind of meal package with that? Seems very expensive?
