The settled travellers that live there are for the most part decent. You have the rhino smuggler types and the like but even they are quite transient and don’t stay too long in one place because they are always on the run from something. However, what pisses me off is the HSE field hospital every year which is exclusively for the traveller populace. Every single one of them have medical cards which means that no money covers this service and all you need is the medical card our your NHS card to avail of free GP and nurse facilities. Scandalous.

surely this can’t be for real.
People are going OTT blaming the travellers for case numbers in Limerick. I’d imagine socialising around the AI final, combined with the arrival of the UK strain was a perfect storm. They say the cases lag infection by 10 - 14 days. Travellers will obviously have had some impact on figures but its a cop out to say it’s only travellers causing it.

Kildimo is riddled. Nothing to do with travellers. Majority of cases are not traveller related. I’m sure there are cases within the community but they don’t deserve all the blame
Was getting a take away last night, a brood of the cunts inside before me Mamma, Dada and all eight kids running riot inside the place and not a mask in sight, I watched these animals from the safety of the car like a poor mans David Attenborough as obviously I was going nowhere near the place until they were gone for fear of contracting certain Covid.
It didn’t take long for Dada to get involved in a verbal with the staff(middle Eastern gentlemen) over the order or price or both and this would intensify with arm waving, vigorous pointing and a few shakes of the fist before he abruptly quick turned from the counter and screamed a command to the swinging monkeys to return to the space wagon parked next to me much to the relief of the under siege staff.
Seeing my window of opportunity I quickly masked up and slipped in my order, 15-20 mins he says, sound says I, back into the car and went for a spin to pass the time. Upon returning just short of the 20 minutes the once neat and tidy shop front was like that of the apocalypse as the entire family were mauling their meals like a pack of starved piranhas inside the take away(ignoring the staff pleas of not sit down eating) outside the door and within their vehicle. Brown bags, pizza boxes, coke cans, snack boxes were tossed anywhere without second thought, more chips were squashed into the cobbled stone work than consumed.
Finally another yelp and whistle from Dada and like a reversed clown car all of them hopped inside it double quick time and gone, peace and deathly quiet. I went in as one of the staff passed me by with a brush and bin bag “Happy new year eh??” He angrily says as I collected my 6 euro pizza meal and left him to it.

I saw it in ballybunion . Similar situation, a tinker was demanding ’ fresh chips ’ from the foreign lad behind the counter . And he got them too along with extra free food.no thanks nothing , further demands made for sauces. The next member of the public who ordered demanded the same treatment as the traveller before her . Fresh chips and a free burger . The foreign lad tried to say the other chips were fresh , she wasn’t having any of it.people are afraid of these cunts . No need to be .

I avoid the pricks unless they get in my way as in knocking on the door, selling shite etc, found when working the doors of you are quiet or bow down they’d walk all over you
Would they try every every week to get in or what ? Some of them are good at changing their appearance and their accents.

Only in Cork, never had that problem up north, now to their credit it wasn’t all, but the younger generation of Faulkeners/mccarthys are en masse scrotes

In terms of the Limerick travellers the Faulkners do love a fight but the Caseys are the worst in my book. The Connors out in Clondrinagh are a bunch of nutcases.
