could you sum up what you just said in one line please?
+1
Another decent bet on that Murray-Djok match
Bet 30
Murray to win the first set. 2 points. 7/4 with Stan James.
Looks attractive, Murray will have to start well to win it and I think he can, Djok has been caught sleeping before early on in matches before storming back for victory.
Cheers TTK will have an e.w cut on the horse!
Gone for the straight win on the Jock myself. It’s now or never for Murray and I think he can beat Djokovic today. Hoping Lendls influence can bring him to the next level
Best of luck TTK but I don’t give Murray any chance. Djokovic is on a different level to anyone else at the moment.
I’ve had a good cut on him to win the tournament @ 11/10 and a few quid on him to beat Murray 3-0 @ 2/1.

Betfair requires Australian wallet to bet on events down under and that requires ridiculous amounts of identity verification. Frustrating.
Really? Can you not just transfer from uk/ire wallet to aus. I can. And iv certainly never given Bfair any Id
No, you must have given them ID when you set up the account, you are unable to withdraw funds otherwise
Withdrawing cash is obviously not something Dan has encountered before
I never gave betfair any ID, it won’t let me withdraw through the website but when I email them they carry out the withdrawals.
Strangely enough I have, because I had a corker of a bet on ire to beat Oz in WC. You can withdraw as much as you have ever lodged direct back to CC and rest into your bank account. It’s a long standing account, but def never gave ID
Maybe it has changed but I believe The Dunph was whinging on here on a few short months ago about being asked for ID when setting up an account
They never asked me for ID when I joined but likewise I couldn’t withdraw a thing and ended up blowing the few quid I won on shitty bets so as to use it up. If I won big I was going to go to the hassle of all the ID craic but not for a small win, in hindsight stupidity on my behalf.
I was able to transfer money into the Aus account for betting on the WC. When I went to put that bet on this morning though it told me my wallet was suspended until I did their verification check. The verification check requires you to get all the bits of paper you submit signed by a guard/priest. Fuck that.
Reading up on it, if you don’t do the verification check within 2 years, the Tasmanian gov can claim any funds in the account. Seems fairly stringent really. Do paddy power etc have the same requirements to bet on sporting events down under?
No, as they are bookmakers they are the ones taking the bets and would have all their paperword and permits (or whatever they need) up to date, Betfair is only a middle man they are only facilitatlng bets as opposed to taking them hence the need for the individual to verify all this
That’s all great lads, but take it elsewhere please and stop clogging up the greatest thread on the internet.
