Huh? [/quote]
I though he was a non runner but had checked tomorrow card accidentally.

Well that was fucking shit and quite expensive

Chin up, I doubt too many are reading this anymore

That’s true, I fully expect to be hit with gone off fruit when I leave the safety of the office later. I also suggest Rocko takes the shackles off this thread, it has been far from a smooth ride since restricted.

Leave the shackles on and pack it off to the dungeon.

That’s how this thread stands at the moment, still well in profit with a decent strike rate. I should have been more frequent in my posts last week but work commitments etc got in the way of me having a bet.

Bet 39

Nick Watney to beat Tiger Woods at WGC Matchplay. 3 points. 5/4 numerous firms.

I don’t get the odds on this one, it’s about time bookmakers came around to the fact that Tiger is a long long way from the player he used to be, but they seem blinded by his aura so I’m taking advantage here. Tiger was terrible in his first match, he played 18 holes in +1, beating Fdez-Castano by 1 hole. Watney on the other hand beat Darren Clarke (a pretty decent matchplay player by all accounts) 5&4, shooting -4 for the 14 holes he played. I don’t see how Watney isn’t favourite, he’s in better form, had a better 1st round and I’d be hopeful of him going through to the next round.

Bet 40

Matt Kuchar to beat Bubba Watson at WGC Macthplay. 3 points. 11/10 numerous firms.

Matt Kuchar is an excellent matchplay player, he got to the semi-final last year, and his overall matchplay record is 7 wins 2 losses. He can frustrate his opponents by just being solid. Bubba Watson on the otherhand is wild, we saw him yesterday win some holes by attacking the flags and also lose some holes by attacking shots. Kuchar did well to win on 18 yesterday when the pressure was on and I fancy him to get the job done today, he also lives pretty close to this track and knows it well.

Bet 41

Matt Kuchar & Nick Watney double, 11/10 and 5/4. 2 points. Works out at 3.73/1. Totesport and Betfred are best priced on BOTH.

Same reasons as above.

Best of luck with those TTK. Always find matchplay bets can be a minefield. Like McDowell yesterday hit 6 birdies I think but still ended up losing.

Thanks Mac, it can be quite volatile for want of a better word, but the PGA Tour site do some great stats on the matchplays and I’m opposing Woods for the simple fact that he is priced on the player he used to be. I fancy England to do a number on Wales tomorrow in the rugby too :o

Tiger is on the road to recovery but even at his best matchplay wasnt his strongpoint.

Bubba Watson is wild. But a seriously big hitter that will create opportunities… I think Watney is a stronger bet.

That’s true but it can also get him in trouble, Kuch will be seeing most shots from 30+ yards further out but he is a much better iron player and far more reliable with the flat stick.

Good to get a clean sweep here to get the momentum going again. I’ll update the profit figure tomorrow and I’ll also throw up the rugby bets im getting on.

Nice return to form TTK. Keep it up. A nice two wins there.

The Return of the King. Well played mate.

Superb TTK

Thanks Lads.

Bet 42

England to beat Wales. 2.5 points. 8/5 Sportingbet.

England at home are formidable. Wales have one win there in the last 24 years. The Welsh beat an under performing Ireland and struggled for a long period to break down Scotland. It appears people are now over-rating them off the back of those results. England have only been beaten by France in the world cup since last seasons 6 nations. They are not as bad as everybody is saying. They are a new look side and do have some inexperienced players starting today but what better game to get your international career off to a flyer than a home game against Wales. I think they should be favourites.

Bet 43

England to score over 1.5 tries. 3 points. 1/1 PP

Great bet, same reasons as above.

Wouldn’t be backing Wales at odds on away from home but I can’t see how England are a betting proposition either. Very inexperienced 8,9,10 axis and the Welsh backrow is a far better unit. Would be surprised if England were good enough to beat this Welsh side

A plumber playing Nr.8!

I am following TTK here. My smugby knowledge is limited but 7/4 looks too big for undefeated England against hyped Wales side at Twickenham

+1.

Survived an early scare when the Welsh lad fell on the ground, but hopefully England can run over the line and put the ball on the ground a few times to earn us some cash.

Ouch…
