TTK's Rugby Union bets 2013/2014

This tyke isn’t very good at the rugby
I was doing that game, Ulster should have won by 15+ in that but couldn’t finish anything, smash and grab for Glasgow, only time they were in Ulster’s 22 in the second half was the last 5 mins, great result for the firm!

Bet 8

Leinster to win by 13+ versus Ospreys. 4 points 13/8 Ladbrokes & SJ

Really like the look of this one. Handicap is 8 moving to 9, so you are taking 10/11 on a 10+ victory, yet you’re getting serious value at 13/8 to win by more than 12 points. Leinster were slight underdogs last week against Scarlets and absolutely blew them off the park in the second 40, I didn’t see that game but by all reports they gelled seriously well and Gopperth at 10 was supposedly excellent. Ospreys on the other hand were lucky to come out of Treviso with the win, they’re not at full strength and will know that realistically they’ll get nothing in this game so will have one eye on next weekends game with Edinburgh. Leinster could pull away in this one in the final third, strong bench also, and that 13/8 looks very, very tasty.
This isn’t going very well.
What should have been a very good day punting wise has now turned out pretty poor.
The only brightside was the state of the Leinster number 16 waddling off to the sin bin. These fuckers are completely deformed.

I thought it was dancarter had posted this bet and was going to post the same. Good end to this game though.

Ospreys are dogged cunts. Try to avoid em where possible. TBF to TTK this looked red rover in the first half

Not to be here, Leinster led 16-6 in the first half but let Ospreys back into it, two converted tries in the space of 3 minutes did our chances and it ended in a 29-29 draw. Good game in fairness.

This thread is an embarrassment.

Yawn. Put down your tin of fosters and go to bed Kevin.

I love this thread, keep up the good work TTK.

TTK. Just so we use the same accounting standards in both threads. Are you counting your ante post bets in the total staked/returns/profit figs here? As you are the senior pundit il fall in line with your method

Sorry my bad. Read your ante post tips there and saw the explanation. Il amend mine.

There is no Fosters in Australia you idiot. One of many brilliant marketing bluffs the Aussies achieved. The other that everyone is laid back, and another belter is the perception that the place is wall to wall with top notch fanny. It’s not bad, but it’s nothing too hectic.

They must keep all the lookers at home Kev-any Aussie birds I’ve ever met travelling have been munters.

They’re all in Melbourne, Kev. I used to walk around the city centre for a while in the afternoon and then go into the $2 peepshow to jack off.

Had to be done.

The “good looking” ones all look the same. There is a bit of variation and breeding coming thru, but nothing like the cross breeding the yanks have nailed. Alot of fat arses and no tits.

Like any big city thraw. Per pop it wouldn’t be better than any European city, probably worse.

Keep your trash talk for some other thread please.

First max bet of the season tonight and a small bet on a small upset in Italy.

Bet 9

Dragons v Scarlets (-3). 5 points. 10/11 numerous.

We’ve had stunning success with the 5 point bets over the years and I’m confident that will continue when Scarlets take on Dragons in a Welsh derby. Scarlets are a much better side than Dragons and have been for a number of years, they suffered defeat to Leinster in week 1 when they flew out of the blocks before being dismantled in the final 30. They then had a solid win over an improving Treviso last week and are coming to the boil nicely. Jonathan Davies is back in the game, Barclay makes his debut and with strong half back parternership of Davies/Priestland they can cause Dragons all sorts of trouble. Falateau returns for the dragons (his manager called him out of shape last week) and although they’ve had a great start they will do very well to keep this one close. Scarlets are a class above in all areas, if this game was week one the line would be 7 maybe 8. I’m looking forward to this match, plenty of cash to be made.

Bet 10

Treviso v Munster. 2 points 8/5 PP

Treviso at home are a very hard nut to crack, they’ve beaten Munster a couple of times here in this competition and won’t fear them. They had a disappointing loss to Ospreys in week 1 and played as well as could be expected away at Scarlets. Now they are back on home soil. Zebo returns for Munster but he is likely to be a little off the pace and I expect this one to be nip/tuck. The line is +4 and that is attractive but take the 8/5 that Treviso cause a mini upset.

Brown bread

Great call on Treviso at home tonight @The Tipping King . But fucking hell, Nostradamus couldn’t have predicted the other Rabo Direct Pro 12 results tonight.

Cardiff were 1/100
