TTK's Rugby Union bets 2013/2014

Great shout

Australia are a rabble Mac-poorly priced by the bookies here imo. Fair play to TTK for calling them on it all the same.

So what your saying is my post was correct?

I would say “Great shout” is a bit strong for predicting that South Africa would beat this terrible Australia team handily at home but I really don’t want to get into an argument with you, pal.

brilliant TTK

thanks

Just one bet for the weekend at the moment, coming on Saturday afternoon. Ulster named a strong side but absolutely no value in 10/11 -16. Edinburgh may well beat Scarlets but again it’s marginal stuff.

Bet 12

South Africa (-11) v Australia. 4 points 10/11 numerous.

South Africa gave Australia a pasting away from home a couple of weeks ago and the sides face off again in Cape Town on Saturday. Australia were 5 point favourites for the last meeting, they lost by 26. South Africa pulled away in style in the last 20 minutes that day and pretty much physically destroyed Australia. It will be the same story tomorrow. They’ve brought in Du Preez for Pienaar which looks a positive switch and the 11 point handicap looks lenient. Australia have had a long summer, contesting the Lions series and they have suffered as a result, they already sit 10 points behind the Saffies in the table and will be lucky not to finish last. James O Connor’s boozing session resulted in him being kicked off the squad and the Aussies are low in confidence. Genia is on the bench and although they have a backline that can cause untold damage, the Saffies equally have a robust defence. It might be tight in the early stages but I fully expect South Africa to come out of this one hansom winners, perhaps even gaining a bonus point.[/quote]

South Africa won this at a canter 28-8.

Ante-Post Bet 6

Saracens to win Heineken Cup. 2.5 points e/w 9/1 VC & Betfred

Sarries have shown themselves to be a proper side so far this season. They have acquired well in the last two seasons and seem to have matured as a side. Strettle and Ashton on the wings, Barritt is a top class center, Alex Goode at full back, a solid half back partnership in Farrell and Wigglesworth. They have a strong pack, Vunipolo Borthwick and Hargreaves all big game players. Basically they have assembled a team that can definitely make a go of it again this season. They won their group in good style last season, a group consisting of Munster Edinburgh and Racing Metro before dismantling a good Ulster side in the quarters. They fell at the semi-final side to the eventual winners Toulon, where indiscipline cost them dear, especially in the final third. They will have learnt from that experience and should kick on this season.
Not only do I like the look of their team but the price here is all wrong. This season they have a group consisting of Connacht, Zebre and Toulouse. I see them topping that group and having a home 1/4 final. Also with the French sides knowing this is their last season in the H Cup, will they really put it all in or focus on their domestic league as is often the case anyway? You are getting 9/1 with 1/2 odds 1,2. So it’s basically 9/2 that they win a home 1/4 final and their semi. They have the ability to win this competition and are definitely the strongest English side in the mix. 9/1 is way too big, I’d have them no bigger than 5/1. I’m trying to get on the 9/1 with quite a large wager but I may have to take 8s elsewhere. Smashing bet this.

Get yourselves to a Ladbrokes they’re giving it away this weekend.

Bet 13 & 14

Ospreys v Ulster (+6). 4 points 10/11. Ladbrokes.

Ulster to beat Ospreys. 3 points 15/8 Ladbrokes.

Ulster’s below par start to the season has led to them being underestimated again. Ospreys are indeed one of the better sides in the Rabo and are yet to lose this season but Ulster have got the wheels in gear, winning their last two and fielding a much stronger side. They lose Bowe this week but Trimble returns, Williams starts at 8 in a strong looking pack and I can see them getting the win tomorrow night. 15/8 match odds and +6 is standout with Ladbrokes. They won here last year, they can do it again tomorrow.

Bet 15

Treviso (-8) v Connacht. 3 points 10/11 Ladbrokes.

Another standout line here, -11 in places. Treviso are a vastly improved side, they can definitely mix it with the bigger teams on their day, and at home are a formidable side. They came from behind to beat Munster convincingly by 10 in the end and they can dispose of a Connacht side in a bit of turmoil at the moment, They are struggling to score tries, have made a number of changes to their side and look likely to ship 20+ points tomorrow night.

Trevsio is a standout

.

Is there any sport you don’t pretend to be an expert in you absolute spoofer?

Hey how about you fuck off you utter pussy and do some posting and throw up a few predictions and we’ll see what an expert you are? How about that you little cunt.

The Treviso line has moved this morning. -9 best available now. The +11 on Connacht has also dried up

Gwan ta fuck Treviso

16-3 Treviso after 52 minutes.

Thank you gentlemen, hope you made a packet. Clean sweep here. Ulster came from 12-0 behind with 35 minutes left to record an 18-12 victorll through the boot of Jackson who didn’t miss a kick tonight. A really good performance and that should be the real kick start of a big season. Treviso dominated against Connacht eventually winning 23-3, a top, top night for all involved here. If you’ve had a small €20 per point you’d now be up over €320. If you’ve had €100 per point, we’d be well on the way to paying for that holiday with €1607 in the bank.
