DRAFT SUMMARY
Owning the first pick in the draft doesn’t always mean a championship. However in this case, it’s a real possibility. Band of Roasters converted their No. 1 overall selection into this year’s top draft. They aimed for a roster with balance at key positions, selecting a quarterback, two running backs, and two wide receivers within the first five rounds. By the time all the picks were in, Band of Roasters ended up with the best trio of running backs in the league.
In the 6th round, caution was thrown to the wind, as Marlon Mack was selected at pick number 72 versus an ADP of 100.5 across all NFL.com leagues.
Band of Roasters adhered to fantasy tradition, selecting a pair of running backs with their first two picks (Todd Gurley and Jordan Howard).
