Probably his other self.
Rugby is marketed supremely well. Every game matters, even when they don’t.
The Dubs played one game of consequence in reality and sold out an 80k capacity stadium.
They sold it out twice last year.
That’s some going.
If you dont consider the semi a game of consequence then why bother thinking of the final that way. Result known before the ball was thrown in.
The rugby team pulled in 50k plus 6 times in 2018 i think.
Two sentences and you still managed to defeat your own argument. Well done.
Yes they did. They had a number of games to qualify for the Europeans Championships and a tournament in itself. The attendances were awful.
The FTA on games this year was settled long ago.
Incorrect. I don’t think you understand the Nations League
Dublin have got very good attendances, but they have clearly dropped off in the last few years outside the last couple of games. Lads here are very quick to say what matters/doesn’t matter. The facts are the facts on attendance.
Given the fact that Dublin do get good attendances though, it makes the ROI’s attendances even worse.
The 1992 European Cup tie second leg Leeds v Stuttgart . Leeds went out on away goals we thought . Stuttagart fielded an ineligible player and a play off ensued in Barcelona . .
The game live on ITV . I will never forget the atmosphere at that game at Elland Road
Cringe
What an inane post
Do you remember the game ??
I do
And the subsequent Rangers games ?
I do
Wasn’t there a one off rematch to decide it after the ineligibility kerfuffle? Carl Shutt?
Yes .
By far English football’s greatest moment of glory at the Nou Camp in the 1990s.
I bought this book but haven’t started reading it yet.
Premier/Eir Sports have got the rights for Serie A after Eleven Sports pulled out.
Will be interesting to see if Eir can survive.
