Fooley, welcome to last month when I had already mentioned that it was a comedy about a male prostitute on this thread.
Not that I have to justify myself to you but:

HBO have many excellent shows.
The trailer looked good
It was supposed to be a dark comedy

A lot of times shows sound shit and are very good or sound very good and are shit. I just expected more. The subject matter wasn’t the issue. The quality of the script and the acting was.

gentlemen have any of ye watched “torchwood-children of earth” this miniseries was an absolutly cracking watch… havent watched any of the previous seasons but this is one of the best series of the year…

Forget about hearing. We’ve seen the pilot, and on a scale of 1 to 10, we give it an 11. V is the best pilot we’ve seen in, well, forever. Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost) is amazing. Scott Wolf (Party of Five) is adorable and charming. And you simply won’t be able to take your eyes off Morena Baccarin (Firefly). It goes above and beyond expectations!

I wonder if the pilot has leaked online. I’d be surprised if it hasn’t. a lot of shows do that intentionally. Studio 60 did.
