Tv Shows & Mini Series (Part 1)

Ever since Pirate Bay went down my downloading has been intermittent at best, kickass just doesnt have the same quality set up. I must try find this though, have heard good things.

Romanzo Criminale.

They were, Frank Sobokta’s heart was in the right place, the other Greek with the Paddy hat was class as well.

Finished The Bridge tonight. Great stuff. Saga Noren is the best TV character I’ve seen in years

I thought first episode of Saul was meh

Anyone watching/watched the Following so far? Excellent stuff, Bacon is brilliant.

+1

Take Ziggy out if it and it is excellent. The union chief (Frank?) is a quality character

Ah here, it started brightly and went downhill very quickly

I find showbox pretty good

Season 2 might be my favourite season of The Wire. I suspect it’s because it focused on blue collar guys like myself.

As for the greatest - The Sopranos is the greatest that ever has been and ever will be. Amen. It was capable of being incredibly violent, incredibly moving and incredibly funny all within one scene, never mind an episode. The writing and the acting involved in getting an audience to love deeply flawed character like Tony will never be equalled.

Can you not just use pirate proxy or are they gone too? iseries is very good too for streaming

Is Pirate Bay not back now?

I’ve been using IP Torrents lately. Find it to be very good apart from the upload ratio which can be difficult to maintain.

It’s nowhere near as reliable.

Sopranos is the greatest but Breaking Bad comes a close second for me. There have been some brilliant first seasons of late notably True Detectives, Fargo and Gomorrah-really looking forward to the second series of all these although the casting for True Detectives appears to be questionable. I actually really enjoyed the last 5 episodes of The Wire season 2 after a slow start and the final scene was brilliantly put together.

Who asked you?

I’ve never wanted to fight someone in my life more than you, Choco. I often picture smashing your bearded face into pulp when I am breaking records in the gym.

I’m glad I motivate you, brah.

Ziggy was very annoying to begin with, but the further the story arc went, the better he became I thought. He was a fuck up who just wanted to be accepted.

Ziggy is a main character in Generation Kill.

I don’t think he served any plot purpose at all beyond underlining the tragedy in Frank’s life.

As others have said, Frank was a superb character.

Mad Men is greatest for me. Multi layered character driven narrative. Plus January Jones.
