Tv Shows & Mini Series (Part 1)

I’m only through 2 episodes and I’m feeling very left out

Jesus, that’s incredible.

Cool people* finished the series in 2015, mate.

Even the joe.ie brigade are all over it now.

*I’m very cool.

It really is pal. It’s off the charts. I got a Netflix account just to watch this, thanks to @anon67715551’s recommendation.

Same here pal. And Mrs. Moth. Seething good and fucking proper.

Well, if you spent more time watching TV instead of fucking around on website analytics, you’d be up to Ep4 like myself and @maroonandwhite.

Mrs Moth is going to come in and clean house? The place certainly needs it.

Mr. Fuckin’ Funnyman!

I asked her - she said @maroonandwhite can clean house with @ChocolateMice - the A-Team.

I haven’t watched it and seeing as everyone else is I’m not going to now, fuckin sheep

This seems to be the latest bandwagon now. My sister who is totally PC and would not be alternative at all while not quite a bandwagoner even texted me to say I needed to start watching this great thing. Of course I was already ahead of her curve and had watched a few episodes a few weeks ago but have taken a break since.

Might not go back to it now and leave it in the middle since there are so many wankers latching onto it as the great thing at the moment.

Where were you up to? you probably dont need to watch the last 3 episodes so you’re fine… Did the police place the tissue in the car do you think?

HBO executive admits he rushed ‘True Detective’ writer into creating second season

“When we tell somebody to hit an air date as opposed to allowing the writing to find its own natural resting place, when it’s ready, when it’s baked—we’ve failed,” Lombardo admitted. “And I think in this particular case, the first season of True Detective was something that Nic Pizzolatto had been thinking about, gestating, for a long period of time. He’s a soulful writer. And I take the blame. I became too much of a network executive at that point. We had huge success. ‘Gee, I’d love to repeat that next year.’”

At least they admit it.

The falling out with Fukunaga didn’t help either. Much like Homeland, it was a great idea for one season. It should have been left at that.

Saying that, there were some good performances in Season 2 of TD, notably Farrell and McAdams.

I watched the first series (3 episodes) of the BBC’s Sherlock last night and very much enjoyed them. Both Benedict Cumbrbatch and Martin Freeman are good in main roles and it moves along at a decent pace with some snappy dialogue. Worth a watch

I found season 4 of Homeland to be reasonably entertaining. Had given up on the show after season 3 but found myself with nothing to watch but got into it again after three or four episodes.

Expect to start season 5 once I wrap up my third watching of The Wire.

I’d heard it took up but I couldnt go back to it after S02. Doubt I ever will now.

I thought season 5 was very good. Very relevant to recent goings on with ISIS.

Agreed series 4 was decent. I wish someone would just kill that Carrie one though. She wrecks my head.
