Yeah he was but he’s shown he’ll do anything for power I suppose,he was my favourite character till the time with the bike machanic and his girlfriend, this auld blondie one the hyena is a head the ball
Yeah that was the turning point for Ciro’s character alright. There are very few likable characters left in it actually which doesn’t take away from it at all which is unusual.
True,no antihero’s to be seen anywhere
I think it’s the most grim crime show produced. Really shows what an utter shithole Naples is.
The movie was the same
Anyone seen that French show ‘The Returned’, I’ve been looking for something new to watch and remember when it was reviewed it sounded like my cup of tea
Up to S2 Ep 6 in Gomorrah now.
Simply sensational TV.
Unrale, will the auld fella ever get out of that bedsit,Ciro was always sneaky but he’s taking it to a whole new level now,Genny’s bird is some bit of gear
A Romanista called Azzurra. I’m in love with her.
Silicon Valley fans: TJ Miller insults Stephen Tobolowsky for 5 minutes in a Silicon Valley deleted scene
Toblowsky trying to keep it together in the shots from behind him are quite funny
I’m going to give this a rattle. Will i still enjoy it given my dearth of Italian ancestry?
Absolutely unbelievable episode of Gomorrah. Arguaby the greatest episode in the history of TV.
Just got told to watch that is it on Netflix?
Finished Billions. Not a bad first season, particularly the from episodes 4-8.
The last two, and particularly the last, episodes almost become an ‘act off’ between Lewis and Giamatti which ruins it a little.
Hopefully it takes off in the second season like ‘The Affair’ did.
Up to about episode 4 in billions…it’s grand… not exactly setting the world on fire.
I imagine if anyone on wall street actually watches it they are breaking their holes laughing saying " if they only knew"
Up to episode 8 (I think) and it’s good. Lewis and Giamatti had their first face off in the last one I watched. Its very good in fairness. I’d say Chuck is bate out by the end of each day what with all the speeches he gives each day…
I think it has done a decent job of showing how the system is gamed by certain participants and how they go about their business. Axe is clearly based on Steve Cohen.
Just had a read of Cohen’s bio, couldn’t be more him.
Just watched the episode with Gavin Belson and the bulldog. Decent season, because Danesh and Guilfoyle are to the fore.
Watched episodes 7 and 8 of Gomorrah yesterday. It’s so fucking good.
