“Oz” series repeat starting in 30 minutes on Sky Atlantic +1.
Watching first episode here? Seems decent?
It’s outstanding.
It’s from the late 90’s and you will recognise a lot of the actors went on to greater things.
I am not one to follow series’ on TV but I have watched all the episodes in the 7 or so series of OZ.
I wonder were the actors all tied to HBO cause most of them were in lots of their shows after
Decent overlap of actors between Oz, the Sopranos and the Wire back then alright.
@gilgamboa, Oz is fantastic TV, keep at it.
Four episodes into Narcos - cracking show. The Red Viper Oberyn Martell from Game of Thrones is a great character.
The Wire series about the stevedores is the best of the lot. The Sobotkas are top lads.
@Chucks_Nwoko and @Loko_Cove have you boys been watching Rake on auntie? Season just finished, been watching it from the start, brilliant stuff, Roxburgh is hilarious.
Watched the first episode of Angie Tribeca with Rashida Jones from Parks and Rec. Seems to be Police Squad written large for the modern era. Not sure it hits. Don’t think I’ll be going back. Can’t believe its on its 3rd season.
Watched the first two episodes of stranger things on netflix. Decent so far its like a love letter to ET, stand by me, and numerous other eighties classics. If it keeps up I will have it binged in the next couple of days. 7/10 so far but hopefully it will get better as it goes on.
I saw it mentioned alright and think I might give it a spin. Anything with those sort of influences is well worth a look.
For some reason this came to mind when I heard about it
I’ve not heard of it pal. I only watch tv shows if they’ve been rated “honrale” or above by at least 3 different posters in this thread.
Don’t know if it’s been mentioned here before but Fargo is a fantastic show, season 2 especially.
3 Episodes into Stranger things and it’s another Netflix original cracker, not everyone will like it but it’s a great throwback to the classic film and TV shows of the 80s time.
I’m sure its been well flagged, dare I say its at least as good as the Italian thing
Vice Principals had a poor enough opening episode, a waste of Danny McBride and Wally Goggins.
Ballers is also back, I enjoyed the first season but I’m beginning to think meh.
Season 1 of entourage. Ah brilliant.
Just finished rewatching Season 2 of The Wire - the finest season of the best TV show I’ve ever seen. Spoiler alert if you haven’t seen it, but the outro was top drawer. Very moving.
Kenny “Fucking” Powers.
Season two is my favourite as well.
I see Mr Robot is back.
