Cracking show.
The first series of Love Hate was fairy poor.
Kin has potential but the over acting is a bit too common in it.
Casting a load of middle class ones who can’t pull off working class is the issue.
That Virgin series Badlands was actually decent last year and done a fraction of the budget Kin was.

Tbf, the Love/Hate cast were fairly middle class with the obvious exceptions of Noelie and John Connors. The male lead actor in Kin is British yet does a more convincing Dublin accent than Aidan Gillen.

They were more convincing working class portrayals bar Darren.
Kin is utter garbage. I can’t think of a single positive thing to say about it. The characters are all complete drips.
Must rewatch succession this week
Rewatched Mr.Robot for the first time recently, I watched every episode as they came out initially but had forgotten a fair amount from the first season.
Season two is not on par with the others. Three and four are better than the excellent first.
Exceptional show, I can’t recommend it enough. Some outstanding characters

Ep 304 and 405 are up there with the best episodes of TV ever made
Must watch it again. I stopped after season 1
They do a great job of keeping it fresh with multiple threads running through it. It is a complete mind

Was reading the backstory. Your man had been trying to make the show for years. Was driving a taxi when he was 40 cos he’d given up.
Joel Edgerton’s bro is the director, and a friend of Scott Ryan (Ray) and apparently kept pitching Ryan’s idea.
