Ah no Rock. Someone showed me three episodes of this last week. Absolute shite. Not even remotely funny.
I watch it on US speed, so I’ve seen em all, and am currently downloading the latest episode that aired last night, it truly is the best sitcom out there at the moment.
I’m afraid to say I haven’t gotten around to downloading any of those shows. I’m currently watching
Dollhouse (still undecided)
Sarah Connor Chronicles (getting better imo)
Chuck (quality throwaway fun)
Lost (It owns me)
Reaper (same as chuck)
HIMYM (best sitcom on tv)
Better Off Ted (a sitcom that is starting very promisingly)
Rescue Me (no shit show, great acting)
Heroes (gone off the boil, but showing signs of coming back)
I am awaiting the return of
Mad Men (top notch stuff, great take on US of that era)
I am downloading S1 of Supernatural.
I’m sure there’s others I’m watching or waiting for but I cant recall em at the moment.
Have first few episodes of it downloaded blindly, know nothing about it, anything worth seeing?
I have no idea what you’re on about there locke?
I’ll look it up there…
Yeah, I was wrong, thinking of a totally different show… my bad
Don’t think so.
These are the 5 main characters:

I think that Joss Whedon liked the idea of Dollhouse on paper and ran with it but it’s just not working.
If you have a character that is different week on week and then is rebooted to a blank slate where and when are you going to learn about their background and why it is such an injustice that they are used the way they are.
They need to do huge background episodes on all the dolls. And quickly or it could and should be cut.
Compare the depth of the characters so far in Dollhouse to this stage of Buffy or Firefly. He needs to sort it out, quickly…
Some possible good Joss related news:
Joss Whedon, co-creator and director of the hit Web musical Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, told a group of reporters that a sequel could take any form: another Web series or even a feature film. The three-part series’ success on the Web, DVD, iTunes and CD could interest studios in funding a big-budget sequel, but Whedon intends to keep things intimate.
“Well, we don’t want to be beholden to anybody,” Whedon said in a group interview on Tuesday in Hollywood at a Paley Fest panel on the show. “We want to do the product the same way we did the first one, which is out of our hearts, and then go to people [and say], ‘OK, if you’re interested in this, this is what it is.’ Besides, it could be something theatrical. It could be something on the Internet again, where it’s done on the fly and it all comes from us. We don’t know how we want that to be. The best thing to do is to write it. Then we can start deciding a business model based on the script.”
A feature-length Dr. Horrible sequel is a serious consideration but not definite. “We’ve talked about doing an actual studio film, and we’ve talked about doing an independent tiny little thing,” Whedon said. “We’ve talked about everything in between, the bumper sticker, whatever format.”
In a separate interview, co-writer and composer Jed Whedon (Joss’ brother) said the sequel’s length would be determined by the medium in which it appears. “It depends on what form it takes,” Jed said in an exclusive interview on the red carpet. “The story that we’re talking about is pretty big, so it might end up being longer.”
Spoiler alert:
Maurissa Tancharoen, co-writer and Jed’s fiance, added that the writers could find a way to bring back Felicia Day’s ill-fated Penny for a sequel. Not that they would invalidate the dramatic effect of Penny’s death.
“Penny is definitely dead, but there are ways,” Tancharoen said. “We love Felicia so much. Maybe she’ll do catering while we shoot the movie.”
Jed added: “It’s movie magic, so there are a lot of different things we can do. We just want to hang out with her.”
inbetweeners is class
Cheers buddy, I’ll give one or two episodes a run then and see how they go.
I’ve never heard of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog in my life cluaindiuic. Re Dollhouse, I’d agree, there is the back story there with Alpha’s character and this other guy whose name I cant remember, but its all up in the air still. Will give it the season anyway.

It’s a really weird little thing Joss Whedon did last summer.
It was a 3 part mini-web-series. Neil Patrick Harris is the main character. It’s a typically genius Joss Whedon piece of work.
It’s basically a single episode length musical but it’s fantastic.
Give it a chance.
Act 1 Part 1

Just watched the 10th episode of Dollhouse. Barring some kind of world class twist the show is dying. This episode felt like a supernatural episode of diagnosis murder. My god joss! What has happened to you?
great show dunph weird but great, set in the depression era about a carnivale travelin round the dustbowl states, nick stahl is the main charachter, should be a new series comin this year hopefully
You ever think some of these lads just kick start a show and then fook off?
Nah Joss is still on it. He has directed some, written some and is directing and writing the finale.
Most of the guys from Buffy are on it.
Jane Espenson, Tim Minear, David Solomon
He has given a lot of power to his brother and sister in law
Maurissa Tancharoen, Jed Whedon.
They may be out of their depth. Whatever it is it’s not working.
Some noteable absentees are Marti Noxon and David Fury.
She is working on Mad Men.
He is working on 24.
Boston Legal finished up on LivingTV on Friday night. Fantastic show altogether. I have every episode of it. In the first season, while still excellent in its own right, you get the feeling the show is trying to find its feet but it takes off in Season 2 big time. Spader and Shatner have fantastic chemistry.
