Yeah that 2nd last episode of season 2 is probably the darkest thing I have seen.
I might watch some over the next few days to brush up on it.
The end of series 3 was superb as well.

A very disappointing return to Entourage tonight.
Reading Game of Thrones, tremendous read for those who like the show. Cant wait to get into the rest.
It gets pretty shitty at times, I actually stopped reading the third book because it was depressing as fuck, and I’m not easily depressed. Generally every book has a lot of filler in it, and Martin delays a lot of the plots. Plus the fourth book is supposed to suck, the newest has been getting better reviews though.

Shooting for series 4 of The Thick of It is starting in March 2010. Shame it’s going to be such a long wait. On a related note, the Armando Iannucci show is fantastic and a must see for any Brasseye/Partridge/Time Trumpet fans.
It’s nuts how much Cameron’s policy chief, Steve Hilton, sounds like Julius Nicholson.

Entourage Cartoon, Johnny Bananas Lined Up For Release
One of HBO’s hit shows, Entourage, will have a cartoon attached to it in the coming eighth season to gain publicity. Mark Wahlberg, producer, will also be involved in the marketing campaign. The new cartoon is called Johnny Bananas and stars Kevin Dillon as the voice of main character. Dillon plays “Drama” on Entourage and his new character also bears the same name: Johnny “Drama” Chase. Johnny Bananas is about a gorilla with anger issues, who slowly gets madder until he goes bananas.
Entourage continuing with its downward spiral of late. Again saved by Drama, but even Ari has lost his spark at this stage. It’ll continue to get rating however, and it wouldnt surprise me if these stories about a movie prove to be true.
I laughed once at the opening episode and it was when Drama lost the head with Turtle for smoking weed, something you might see in any of the 50 episodes so far.

Agreed that Drama is the only thing keeping Entourage going at the moment. His closing line at the end of the second episode is vintage Drama too. Kevin Dillon is a superb actor.
The Borgias is starting on Sky Atlantic Saturday night, are HBO producing it and will it be any good?

Breaking Bad is fucking deadly.
True Blood is also pretty good, if hugely strange.
Which is better, Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones? Haven’t seen either of them yet.
Both excellent, but two shows you can’t really compare.
If you are wondering which one to watch I would go with Breaking Bad as the fourth series has started recently whereas Game of Thrones first series only ended recently.
