It’s decent but let down by some terrible casting, yer man that plays the main character in it is very unconvincing and a bad actor to boot.
Mark Wahlberg has confirmed there will be an Entourage movie. Given they’ve already pretty much destroyed the show this doesnt really bother me all that much and part of me thinks it couldnt actually be any worse than the last couple of seasons.
Mad Men is back on 25th Mach 2012 with a two hour premiere
Game of Thrones is back April 1st 2012
Season 6 of 30 Rock started back over the past few days, disappointing opening episode to go along with last season. I’ll keep watching, but this one might just be done.
Sherlock finished its second season last night on BBC. The highlight of this season was the first episode, second one was weak, last night was better. A very very good show though and one I would highly recommend. Two seasons, 6 episodes of 90 mins an episode. Well worth your time.
One other thing, there’s a Goodfellas TV series in the pipeline. Just let that one percolate there.
Anyone else get Netflix? Very decent, have the one month free trial.
Not sure if I want to bother with last night’s Sherlock, the second episode was pretty horrible and this one is supposed to be as poor.
Looking forward to ‘Game Of Thrones’.
Ya got Netflix. V good on iPad but have v good internet connection. Would be hoping selection would improve. Good selection of docs on it
Any documentary to recommend? They could do with expanding the selection a bit, particularly the programmes.
Page One, doc about we york times is decent. The interrupters is another good one
Cracker is also on it if you haven’t seen it before
Was looking at the selection & didn’t think it was up to much. Thought they would have got their selection right before they launched
Watched the first two episodes of New Girl on 4OD earlier. Looks as though it could have the potential to be a decent if somewhat quirky comedy
zooey deschanel would get it
Her quirkiness adds to her appeal.
Game of thrones is good, season two is Currently being wrapped up and on screens in April. Can’t wait… It stays very close to the books which are well worth a read.
Yeah I read the books up until the Red Wedding.- everything got a little too depressing by that stage. The writers are going to have a insanely hard time writing the next few seasons.
I got past that, and it got even fucking more mental. Think they’ll have to deviate a lot from the books to make this worthwhile.
Watched first two episodes and found it quite shit. Think I couldnt get over the changing of the Wayans actor, who is bizarrely quite watchable. I find her quirkiness too annoying in this, whilst its usually her catch, in this its just too much. Too unbelievable.
I must stress that I have not watched the program Louie alludes to, I was just making a throwaway comment about Zooey Deschanel.
Mad Dogs is back on Sky1 tonight, I quite enjoyed the first series I must say. I have also downloaded the first two episodes of Alcatraz so will report back shortly with my findings.
“Justifed” returned the other night and as always it was excellent. Its one of the most under-rated shows out there. Id recommend anyone whos going to give it a go to push on through the weakish opening couple of episodes because from about episode 3/4 the main story arch begins to take shape and Id put it up there with breaking bad as one one of the best shows on tv at the minute.
Has anyone seen this new American programme with Kelsey Grammar in the lead?
Have downloaded the first few episodes but haven’t watched it yet.
See previous page Turenne, its good stuff.
Anyone watching Alcatraz? Incredibly underwhelmed by it, not sure what I was expecting, but it was more than I’ve seen in the opening two episodes. Another “Person of Interest”, decent premise, but no hook.
Season Two of Dexter put down and cant believe I waited so long to watch this. Great show, good actors, and doesnt hurt that the delightful Julie Benz stars.
