Twitter (Part 1)

What twitter has shown me is that GAA players are generally quite illiterate.

I would expect nothing else from the greatest sports person that this country has ever produced.

Having been in Kinlough and Carrick this past weekend, I have to say it does seem to be a lovely part of the world. Think I’ll have my stag in Carrick.

Sad to hear about the passing of Barack Obama

“PRESIDENT OBAMA IS dead” proclaimed the Twitter feed of Fox News Politics in the early hours of this morning.

It was announced from the account that the US president had been shot dead in a restaurant in Iowa, and subsequent tweets stated that he had been hit twice in the lower pelvic area and in the neck. The last tweet posted wished Vice President Joe Biden the “best of luck as our new president”. Obama had visited Ross’ Restaurant during last week after making a promise to do so during his 2008 presidential campaign.

Just prior to the Obama comments a message had been posted which read “just regained full access to our Twitter and email. Happy 4th”. Earlier messages had appeared on the Twitter feed which proclaimed that a group called the Script Kiddies had hacked the account, but those messages were removed after the hackers’ account was suspended reports GMA News. A new Twitter account set up in the name ‘@scriptkiddi3s’ has now also been suspended.

Anyone follow Paul Galvin on this?

The man is a bit odd.

Anyone who follows Paul Galvin is obviously a fan of the hershey highway.

Has the Phil Neville, Seamie Coleman twitter battle been posted up here yet?

Just had a read of it, Coleman has got some decent patter, which I find surprising.

Nicolas Roche is a credit to Irish sport. His spelling shows up poor French education system mind. http://twitter.com/#!/nicholasroche

The tards that run dublinmatchtracker (think they originate out of resdubs, nuff said, etc) got it into their heads that TG4 were strapping a camera to Liam Rushe’s helmet for the Leinster Hurling Final

I tweeted a couple of times about Celtic playing Melbourne Victory and I now have the honour of being followed by ‘Melbourne Brothels’.

This one looks like it has potential

@TalkingBallsGAA
Darren Clarke v Donegal… Who’s winning the ongoing drinking competition? Sambuca shots v pints of stout.

Great to read Joey Barton making fun of people in authority with lisps and saying it’s unacceptable. The chief reason why I never wanted or accepted Colm Bonnar as Wexford manager.

No luck with that retweet Bandage

What a pack of pricks.

Im sure machedinho27 would have retweeted.
