Cheers mate. Iâm going to add you too. Did you add me?
2RE, iâm having a re-think about associating myself with you. Some of the people you have on your list is an outrage and a whoâs who of cunts. I wonât even post on the forum who you follow for fear of embarrassing youâŚ
Una Healy is a nice lady! Ya youâre right though, I must go through the list and do a clear out. I went a bit mad when I started first.
Does anyone want to know who 2RE has on his list???
Not really.
Feel free to pm me with those you donât approve of! Iâve a list of racing, gaa, rugby and soccerball people. The odd comedian thrown in as well.
Pm me with your twitter name so I can follow the awesomness that is 2RE
2RE has James Corden and Alan Quinlan amongst those he follows. Fairly sure i saw Ray Darcy in there too but i couldnât look at the screen too long as i feared my eyes would go blind.
Huh? I follow none of those bagels.
Pretty sure Darcy isnt on twitter, it would explode with awesomeness were he.
Theyâre on your listâŚ
Grace Dent has news for her Twitter troll
When Mufadal Juwaji sent TV critic Grace Dent an insulting tweet during her appearance on Sunday nightâs Have I Got News For You he probably thought it was a throwaway witty comment which might amuse his handful of followers.
He didnât realise that she was a client of the PR firm he works for and that it could end up losing him his job.
He commented, â@gracedent reminds me of a girlfriend I once had. By girlfriend I mean that time I accidentally made love to an ugly abhorrent horse.â And while it was written in better English than most trolling comments, it was just as unfunny to the person on the receiving end.
It comes at a time when people are biting back against this sort of online abuse.
Noel Edmonds, for example, is calling for more online responsibility after meeting the student who set up a Facebook page called âSomebody please kill Noel Edmondsâ.
In his BBC Three programme The Anti-Social Network, Richard Bacon revealed that he and his family have been subject to a torrent of anonymous online abuse from a particular individual for the last two years.
And articles such as âYou should have your tongue ripped outâ: the reality of sexist abuse online and follow-up pieces in the Guardian and blogs including Shiraz Socialist and Too Much To Say For Myself reveal that female journalists and bloggers are too often at the receiving end of nasty misogynist comments.
With 112K followers I donât know how much of this sort of abuse Dent has to put up with herself, but something led her to take a moment to look this guy up and find out who is. And she discovered that he works for PR firm Hill+Knowlton, of whom she is a client. Cue massive climbdown from Juwaji.
@gracedent: âIâm wondering, as a public relations person for a firm I work with, what your thinking was in sending me this message?
@mufadal: âit was naive and ill-warranted. I wonât delete it, as I ought to bare the full brunt of my idiocy.â [Not such great English]
@gracedent: âYouâll bear the brunt of your idiocy at 10am tomorrow morning when youâre unemployed. Good luck.â
So should Juawaji keep his job? On one hand, it was a throwaway, off-duty remark. On the otherâŚwell would you feel happy if one of your staff was sending abuse to one of your clients? As someone on the graduate scheme at Hill+Knowlton, if he didnât know much about PR before heâs about to get a good lessonâŚ
This is exactly why cowardly anonymity is a winner.
Grace Dent is a fucking rat. Something similar happened to me when I was younger after I sent an angry and reasonably eloquent email to a noted imbecile who I considered a threat to my financial security, but was also someone my organisation would regualarly engage with. Stupid bitch ended up finding me out and informing my boss. The rat.
That was a really interesting tweet there from Henry
I for one am excited at the insight weâll get into the personality of Henry Shefflin. He supported a boycott last week.
Yep, like kicking a player in the tunnel Ciaran, and then accusing him of racially abusing you eh? Some things just gotta be done.
Reading over big Samâs recent tweets and âŚ
Was having a wank with a âMidnight Jasmineâ Yankee Candle placed strategically under my balls when that Torres goal went in. What a moment. -
I never thought Iâd utter these words, but Gary Nevilleâs carnal commentary actually enhanced my orgasm. Fair play to him. Heâs a winner.
His droning Manc voice. The magnificence of my engorged plonker exploding in creamy ecstasy. The stink of Midnight Jasmine in the room. Wow. -
It amuses me the way Neil Lennon replies to the Ki Sung-Yeung parody account all the time.
Ki: @OfficialNeil Awrite if a take a wee drink the morra seen as itâs a night game?
Neil: @KiSungYueng1 No Ki last time I let you have a shandy you were sick in Chaâs trainers.
