Uk affairs, The Double Lizzie Crisis (Part 1)

They supported the Liberal Democrats continuing in Government.

Again, people can change opinions as can newspapers.

The Independent have fundamentally changed their business model since 2015.

This is the market they are pitching for, the social media youngster.

Examples from today alone. It’s headlines for a particular type of person. A joe.ie type, “change my profile picture and we can change the world” type.

The Guardian might have lost the run of themselves with their headlines but it is still a little more grown up than where the Indy have positioned themselves.

In terms of being a successful strategy - it’s working. Look at the reactions the Indy are getting now on FB in comparison to a year ago and versus the Guardian, despite being a smaller operation. Look at little old Sidney, straight on here to share the latest bit of good news about Jeremy Corbyn being a few points behind.

And before you come back and start bleating about the Mail or Express, I’m well aware. The fact that you can’t see these things comes from your tunnel vision on pretty much every topic.

You’ve posted nothing of relevance there. Facebook is an entirely different platform.

The Independent supported The Tories continuing in government.

But carry on from deflecting from the facts for the 73,922nd time on this forum because they don’t suit you.

Who are they supporting in 2017?

As far as I know they haven’t said they’re supporting anybody yet.

Jel is doing ok on Sky News so far. He dodged the IRA question bullet already.

An added tension to that question by the aggressive Nordie nature of his interrogator

Looked like a brother of Bono’s.

That Manc “Labour” voter sounded like a true blue Tory.

Jel is in favour of tax and spend.

He did ok there but it was one way with the audience. Paxman is on now.

Paxman is a pain in the hole. Just grandstanding

Corbyn danced around the monarchy question beautifully there.

“You don’t like the Queen, do you?”

“We met and had a nice chat.” (laughs from the audience)

He’s making this a waste of time. Odd line of questioning

Ridiculous.

Bit weak on migration limits.

Anyone with half a brain knows the only way the Tories get it down to 100K is if the economy really tanks

Paxman is a cunt bit Corbyn probably shouldn’t have got so visibly irritated

Will be interesting to see if Paxo is so stroppy with the PM

Wouldn’t blame him in fairness.
