Queenâsâ performance was reminiscent of that of the Dublin ladies footballers yesterday. After a good first half, they collapsed in the second.
A disappointing end to Irelandâs hopes in the 2016/17 renewal, presuming the University of Ulster do not have a team, which I think is a safe assumption.

A dramatic battle tonight between Open and Edinburgh with Edinburgh taking it on the tiebreaker after the teams finished level on 185 each.
Open will have nightmares about that one - that female captain messed it up on the levelling question by taking far too much time to give the answer her team mate had furnished her with. That meant the gong went a fraction of a second before they could get the winning answer in on the next question, and they had the right answer.
She also messed up a team answer a couple of minutes previously after being correctly prompted by the same chap. The UC equivalent of missing a two inch putt.

Excellent Cambridge derby semi-final. Nice to be down to the real business end after the convoluted Super 8 format. Cookstownâs Paul Cosgrove had a quiet semi-final for Wolfson. Heâll be under pressure to bring his A game for the final.
Just watched the semifinal back on bbc player.
It was a contest for the ages.
