Iā€™d no strong opinion on Mescal. I doubt Iā€™ve seen anything heā€™s in but yesterday I seen him say in an interview he felt left down by Dublin because artists werenā€™t cultivated and this sort of horse shit. How he was angry being forced to leave for London. He can fucking stay in London in my eyes anyway.

Havenā€™t seen it but apparently gladiator two is shite and heā€™s crap in it as well.

Heā€™s not in any real blockbuster roles so canā€™t be judged good or bad. Heā€™ll be like Stuart Townend or even Colin Farrell for a while. Tipping away on the outside but wonā€™t be threatening the Oscars too much. And more power to him - heā€™s a sensible lad will bank a few mill and wonā€™t go off the richter

That bates all. Mescal is the most inoffensive lad youā€™ll ever come across in an interview. More power to him. And he can certainly act.

Aftersun is a fantastic film he carries from start to finish. Id suggest hold opinion of his ability until youā€™ve seen that.

True too but thought he was dire in Gladiator
I know a follow up movie rarely is as good as the original but in comparison to the other actors he was just mediocre-
Maybe itā€™s just me

CF in Brugge was absolutely brilliant I thought
As was the midget

And Brendan Gleason was outstanding aswell,

Sad and funny in a movie is a hard combo but they pulled it off .

Superb movie, one you think about for a long time afterwards. Mescal was very good in it and Frankie Corio was unreal given she had never acted before.
