I would prefer if Hearts won the Scottish league

If it were Ronny Delia, Neil Lennon or Brendan Rodgers in charge then I’d be of the same inclination. But because it’s Martin O’ Neill then I’m leaning slightly towards Celtic winning it.

Don’t like Celtic

You should have led with that

That’s not an unpopular opinion.

I don’t think anyone would begrudge them it

Southampton gained a minimal advantage from watching a Middlesbrough training. It’s a complete overreaction to suggest that they should be kicked out of the play-offs. Let them play the final and Boro will learn to be more observant about their training centre in future.

I hope Soton are kicked out of the play off final because it would be great fun altogether if they were.

I was similarly delighted when Swindon were denied promotion to the First Division after winning the play-off final in 1990 with a goal by Alan McLoughlin.

Orange pig

It was loads of games though

Opinion: I thoroughly admired Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds for spying on Frank Lampard’s Derby.

That’s because I like Marcelo Bielsa and Leeds and I don’t particularly like Frank Lampard and if somebody I like cheats that’s fine but if I somebody I don’t like cheats that’s not fine.

Was it some lad from Donegal was hidden in a tree outside Fitzgerald Stadium years ago before being discovered and chased off?

Probably a monkey. Easy mistake to make though

I prefer Chicago to New York.

Pet Sounds, just doesn’t do it for me.

I’ll acknowledge that it was a classic and influential, and that Wilson was an incredible talent. But neither the album, or Wilson’s body of work does much for me.

Just listened randomly to God Only knows today on the radio and was thinking what an incredibly beautiful piece of music and how could anyone create something so wonderful

Au contraire.

Xabi Alonso is a prick.

Xabi Alonso clearly wanted to be Liverpool manager but the decision makers at Liverpool FC have disappeared up their own arse and decided to stick with a manager who is a beaten docket.

You can’t blame Xabi Alonso for that and you can’t expect Xabi Alonso to put his career on hold to wait for that manager to be sacked next October.
