Itâs a simpleton version of the Lives card game.
Its really for the kids. Its kinda like frisbee. Great to play with the kids, but if its just adults playing it then its quite pathetic.

Its a shitty version of 101.Use a regular pack of cards.Jack changes,8 is you cant go and 2 is pick up.You count the cards left in your hand at the end and thats your score.When you go over 101 your out.We were staying in Baltimore 2 weeks ago and there was no TV in the house so we played cards every night and thats what we played.Kids love it

They do. I read about premier league footballers playing it and got a deck thinking itâd be a bit of craic anyway with the kids.
The kids do enjoy it, but itâs fairly mind numbing stuff.
As others have said I need to teach them some other games.
Quick internet search confirms the pro footballers do play it.

The only reason I could think as to why adults would favour uno is that the deck is twice the size of a normal card deck and would allow more than 4 or 5 players to join in the game.
Lives is a far superior game.

Ace can be played anytime (except on a 2) and can change suit
You canât finish on a trick card
Have to call last card
If you make a mistake or play too slow you pick up 2
Highest score left in the hand loses a life
