Unpopular opinions or views you hold

It’s all only a name. And if a person is turning down students for jobs on the name of the college, not their potential, that’s on them. Not the student.

Can you vote for the Seanad if you went to UL?

Nope, sure its only a glorified IT as the auld fella (UCC) is always keen to remind me.

Yep, UL and DCU are in under the RTC umbrella I’m afraid.

A huge part of it is about attracting international students. Third level is becoming increasingly commercialised so if you want to bring in 10k per annum from Malaysian or Korean students, you need to have university in your title.

Sure the ex Chancellor of WIT was up to his neck in it getting lads in from China. Kieran Byrne I think. A right chancer by all accounts.

You’d never hear of anyone from UL in a proper job up in Dublin.

Yup i went to LIT not the technical university of acronyms. I find it discrimination against dyslexics

The 13th ammendment (i believe its the correct one) was never ratified into law. Load of bollocks, lunatics never get nominated for senad elections. Ruins my voting technique

Going to dingle is a shit night out. Like everything it gets ruined when its too popular.

One of the finests parts of the world, attracts a lotof knobheads

Is this a self-clamping of sorts?

The fact that only graduates of the original ‘Queens Colleges’ can vote in Seanad elections shows how nonsensical and utterly undemocratic the upper house is.

Go on

Half agree. Dingle is for day drinking. If you’re down that way you’re in for the weekend not one night. Enjoy it

Hire the E bikes and take yourself off around Slea Head. You’ll not have a better day out.

You may want to check the weather first. Could be like an episode of Fr Ted.
