Upcoming Republic of Ireland friendlies

Ireland will play Turkey on May 25th, followed by Italy at an away venue to be decided, before embarking on the US tour. If kept apart from England in the Euro 2016 draw on Feb 23rd, we will play England in Dublin in March 2015. All good stuff. This is going to b an exciting time for Irish football with Monkeano.

Doubt it. If anything the IFA has more of a claim to the use of ‘Ireland’, as they are the original All-Ireland governing body. The FAI are the breakaway upstarts.

Well not really since the country/region they represent is not Ireland. New countries emerge and change all the time, why after 50 plus years are we not using the correct name of the country?
