Fuel filter i think. Would be mildly surprised but it had been deep in the red a few times over the last couple of weeks so maybe that fucked it a bit. Wasnt due a service for a while on it.

Youâre not at your first rodeo here. It was drummed into me as a young lad not to run the motor with fuck all juice in the tank. All forms of shit then make their way into the system causing issues such as youâre now experiencing. Golden Rule 1: The needle drops into the last quarter - Refuel.

I made the tragic mistake of calling with an elderly (and farmless) aunt just as her boiler packed up. The red button isnât lit up, nothing happens when I press it. Thereâs oil in the glass thingy above the boiler, but none coming when i bleed the boiler.
I take it thereâs a fuse in the virtually inaccessible grey boxâŚmight that be the problem?
Is there anything i should try, or will she need to get a man in?

You need to whip out the motor and a quick burst of a wire brush will clear off the soot and shit that accumulates around the solenoid and youâll be away in a hack.
This mightnât work but for the sake of 10 minutes youâve eliminated one problem.
