If you play golf in Ireland and you’re a member of the Golfing Union of Ireland, Rory is one of your own. Golf is a 32 county non partitionist sport.

This is the golden era of Oirish golf but we have never had a Masters.
On its own a sporting achievement beyond comparison but a career grand slam to go with it means a Rory win tonight would make this oirelands greatest sporting achievement.
