I don’t actually like Hillary pal, as I’ve stated before. I think you’ll find however that the majority of American voters will like her a lot more than whatever circus act the GOP put forward.
American voters are very skeptical of her, but no more so than any politician. In a head to head against what we have seen from the Republicans she will win in a landslide. The question is whether a Republican candidate can emerge from the mire and become a reasonable alternative. Rubio right now looks the only one who could do it but he needs extensive coaching.
That’s the thing. It’s fun at this point for lots of people watching the likes of Trump and Carson making shit of any credibility the american political system has. But at some point, it has to get serious and people will take a big gulp[ and realise that they have to actually vote for a president. In which case Hilary’s experience will tell. It could be too early for Rubio, he probably would hev been better off as running mate to someone experienced and with credibility. There isn’t one on the GOP side, so he’ll have to learn on the job, which could actually danage him long term for future runs.
Rubio is almost certainly the Republicans’ only electable candidate. He’ll never have a better chance. You get one shot at a Presidential election maximum so he’s right to go for it now rather than wait for a hypothetical future chance which may never come.
But if he doesn’t get the nomination he should stay the hell away from being on the undercard. Being a losing running mate is a ticket to political obscurity.
Nixon’s win in 68 was a fluke. Bobby Kennedy would have walked the election had he lived, the popular vote between Nixon and Humphrey was pretty close, even though George Wallace split the Democratic vote like Nadar in 2000. Nixon was poxed lucky basically. He also promised to end the Vietnam war lol.
Was he that high? I’ve been telling people for well over a year now he’s going to win. I’ve him backed to win a good while, but I got him a lot shorter than that.
A friend of mine is lecturing over there and told us all to back him last summer. I dismissed it naturally as part of his pinko liberal politics, but a few of the lads are on at fancy prices.
