Ah heâs an hilarious cunt all the same, this from 2013
Some great ironic surnames of peripheral characters coming into the storyline in recent posts.

So how come the people voted to leave so, whatâs your point?
My point is twofold:
-
Traditional polling is not as reliable as it was, as it is based on cold calling people on land lines, and fewer and fewer people use land lines.
-
There are parallels between the Brexit vote and the current US election. Under normal circumstances I donât believe the population of the UK would have voted to leave the EU, considering the uncertain or perhaps unknown economic outcome. Itâs a reflection of the dissatisfaction of the electorate with the political system and establishment parties. The same is true in the US, in normal circumstances there is absolutely no way Trump would have secured the Republican candidacy, due to his zero experience in politics (comparisons with Reagan are off the mark, Reagan was a two time governor of the largest state in the union). If Trump wasnât such a toxic candidate with so much baggage in his history, he would walk the election, in fact any centrist Republican like Romney would win handily.
I donât get that. Isnât Romney as establishment and big business as you are ever likely to get ?
Not at all, the opposite. The establishment in the US refers to Washington, translated as career politicians of both parties, who are increasingly despised by more and more of the electorate. Big business is the large multinationals who own the political class through their donations, the largest of whom are Wall Street banks, JPM, GS, BA, etc. Big business doesnât generally care who gets elected, as they control them anyway, but Trump scares the shit out of them.
I understand that but isnât Romney the ultimate insider?
My apologies, for some reason I read your comment as about Trump. Yes, Romney would be fairly establishment, but governors are generally seen as at least a bit outside the Washington elite, and he spent most of his career in the private sector.
While the mainstream media obsesses over Pussygate, US debt has just soared to $19.7 trillion. To give it some context, thatâs up over $120 billion in just six business days.
Itâs a big number all right. Debt isnât necessarily a huge problem (for individuals or governments), as long as you can make the payments, and sure you can always print more money if need be. Deficit spending is the real issue, itâs currently at a reasonable 2.5% of GDP (2015), which isnât too bad by historical standards, but could be 3.5% this year. The big issue is GDP has stalled, and both sides of the aisle are reaching the conclusion massive infrastructure projects are needed, so we are likely to head back towards 10% over the next few years, in particular as we are also likely to have a recession.
The single most effective action that would improve US finances would be to increase the effective tax rate that corporations pay, and repatriate their oversees profits.
@anon7035031 its obvious the reports on trump are clearly a drive from Clinton to score points. Iâve never thought for a second that she wouldnât win but how gullible are the voters and the US Joe soap, will they swallow this? The US political mentality (ie them who call the shots) revolves around wars and rumours of wars. It has been since before WW1- âtheirâ interests will be better served by Clinton and so she will be president.
Some interesting WikiLeaks coming out today about Hilary.
Dirty election campaign doesnât give this justice.
Will they make cnn pal??
Not a hope palâŚFOX maybe though in the last debate.
Fox Poll showing Clinton 7 points ahead today
@Fitzy shown up to be all over the shop here yet again. Mike Pence is going nowhere.
Vice-presidential candidate Mike Pence has said new evidence will emerge on Friday that will undermine the sexual accusations against Donald Trump.
The Republican said the âClinton political machineâ was using slander and lies to deflect from real issues.
Several women have accused Mr Trump of groping them or kissing them forcibly, which he has strongly denied.
First Lady Michelle Obama said some of Mr Trumpâs boasts about women were âshocking and demeaningâ.
And she said the language he has used was that of a sexual predator.
On Friday, her husband, President Barack Obama said America was a better place than Trumpâs remarks about women, minorities and other group suggested it was.
Mr Trump was heard bragging on tape that he could force himself on women because he was a star.
But Mr Pence rejected the first ladyâs description, saying he did not understand the basis of her claim.
Mr Trump had categorically denied the allegations and they are unsubstantiated, said the Indiana governor.
âBefore the day is out there will be more evidence publicly that calls into question these allegations.â
More information will back Mr Trumpâs claim that âthis is all categorically falseâ.
There are batches released every day. The Democrats are paying dumb, stating they canât conform the content and blaming the Russians. No in depth coverage at all on CNN or NBC, just mention there were more leaks and no discussion of the content. Meanwhile the Trump tape and the woman who claims Trump felt her tits on a plane 35 years ago are playing essentially non stop.
The only oneâs who have broken rank a little are the Wall Street Journal. Kimberley Strassel, an actual journalist unlike the wankers on CNN and NBC, has come out and basically said that the WikiLeaks emails provide the proof that all the allegations against Hillary are correct. The way her campaign and the White House handled the email issue is most damning, all of the FBI staff who worked on the case were shocked and appalled she wasnât charged, it was clearly a political and/or self preservation act by Comey to grant her a stay out of jail card. At a minimum you have to wonder what the nature of the conversation was between Bill Clinton and the AG Loretta Lynch aboard a private plane in Vegas the day before Hillary testified to the FBI, and responded 21 times âshe didnât rememberâ to questioning.
The reality is if it was anyone else at lower levels of the government, and in particular the military, they would be prosecuted and most likely in jail.

The latest leaks are very damning apparentlyâŚemails from her campaign manager are not good at all for her.
Itâs obvious to anyone with a brain pal. The election was always going to be a choice of which one is the more unlikable, as both have such unfavorable ratings. The Clintons have been destroying people that oppose them since the mid 80s in Arkansas, so no surprise at all the tactics been employed. Not defending Trump, he is clearly a narcissistic, womanizing, egomaniac, but the same could be said of 80% of former presidents, and the two Democratic heroes JFK and Bill Clinton in particular.
As for war, a war with Russia is very likely imo if she wins.
and FOX are Trump supportersâŚ
