Trump has truly been a revelation for the Republican race. Just by being there he has completely upended any strategies that might have been in place beforehand. It’s great in some ways.
There’s little doubt that the Republicans are going to obstruct Obama in every way possible but they will look terrible in the process. And in the end Clinton might end up making the nomination anyway.
Longest time lately for appointing a judge has been 100 days and there’s 300 odd left till Bernie takes office,Obama has loads of time to appoint one if he want,but the dems might use this as a opportunity to fuck the Republican’s over with the electorate someway

The Trump surges seems to prove the idea that the Tea Party was based on anger rather than policy. He has very different positions to the likes of Cruz and yet he has taken a massive chunk out of their base. Trump is really just a flag waving populist and there’s no sound basis for predicting what his policies will be. But it seems to work for the Tea Party types. The subtle/not-so-subtle racism helps too I guess.
Whatever about Trump and whether he believes in half of what he says, Rubio and Cruz are the dangerous ones in this race.

Trump on an absolute roll here in a press conference in SC. Absolutely laying into Cruz, repeatedly calling him a liar and has promised a lawsuit against Cruz as he is not qualified to run (to do him a favor as the Democrats will do it anyway). If he does nothing else but knock out Cruz, which none of the other GOP candidates seem capable of, his candidacy will have been worthwhile. Big controversy over his “blaming” W for 9/11 but he has handled it well, simply repeating the (true) statement that it happened on his watch.

Cruz campaign chair Rep. Streve King, who has spent the last 8 years calling Obama a liar, squealing now about Trump and how calling an opponent a liar is just wrong. It’s truly no wonder Trump is in the lead, the Repubs are such a pack of fuckwits.
