Reports coming through that Joe Biden is reconsidering whether to run. After the unfortunate death of his son Beau revently, he has sounded out family and friends, who all told him to run and it was Beauās wish that he would do so. I reckon heād walk it. Would be great to have another Irish American in the White House.
Biden hasnāt a notion of running, his prior two attempts were abysmal flops and no reason to think this would be any different. An apparently genuinely nice guy in terms of having around at a good booze up, but not someone you would trust with the nuclear codes. Age could become a big factor in the race yet, Biden if he ran would be 74 when inaugurated (Reagan was 70 and age was an issue in his campaign), and Hilary would be 69 (I wish I hadnāt typed that now). If the Republicans run a younger enthusiastic candidate they should walk it, as Hilary is toxic and will have a hard time generating much goodwill.
I wouldnāt be so sure about Biden. Hilary is toxic, but look at the toxic fuckwits the GOP is parading around their circus. As for trusting with the nuclear codes, George W Bush?
