Again whats clear here is people can’t see the wood from the trees in general. The small adjustments over time kinda become the norm. When someone from the putside comes they can often have a clearer picture.

If things like transport, the roads, general amenities etc were gfetting better one would accept allt of things. But they are not.

Its difficult to set up here, thankfully i have support, experience and maturity on my side. I would hate to be young and just out of college now here or god forbid a foreigner. Its hilarious difficult for outsider to deal with the irish system be it in regards to tax, pps, immigration etc.

In general though we have become what we always sneered at, ignorant aussies and yanks only probably worse because we are still inmately insecure and feel the need for appreciation from afar. McGregor syndrome you could call it. He represents alot of this shit.

Again this is a very subjective view of Ireland.

I dont see how you blame McGregor as he is only on the scene for 2 years really which is hardly enough time to affect the sweeping changes you mention…
