It seems as up until the end of February Belgium had received 4% more vaccines than Ireland had of Pfizer.

Since March Ireland has seemingly gained an extra 20%~ weekly delivery of Pfizer.
What is behind this increase I am not sure?
It could be:
Pfizer have promised extra vaccines this month (46k for Ireland) so maybe Belgium are getting their extra doses in one swoop whereas Irelands are being spread out in deliveries over the course of the month.
Ireland have taken up their full option of Pfizer as @Copper_pipe said whereas Belgium are not
But anyway the comparatives between Belgium and Ireland look like this at present.
The lad who made the dashboard put up a tweet earlier this week with a screenshot of the delivery figures supplied by the task force in Belgium. So after week 11 they had 1216605 Pfizer doses. After week 11 Ireland had 570960. So instead of 2.33 for Pfizer maybe the multiplier we should be using is 2.13 ? That is assuming that Belgium didn’t take their full supply of Pfizer available.
The numbers for Pfizer and Moderna match up reasonably ok. 2.315 for Moderna and 2.322 for AZ
Yeah, the numbers for Moderna and AZ are nearly on the nose but there is a slight difference in the Pfizer number and it could possibly be as you alluded to or maybe the Belgians are due an order to catch up to the Irish levels at some point. They’ve gone from 4% ahead at the end of Feb to 7% behind presently.
Cpl are also doing the recruitment for the vaccinators and are making a balls of it.
This country I swear ta fuck. At least we will have a tribunal about all this in 9 years time and any wrong doers will be mildly embarrassed for a few days.

Belgium expecting a nice amount from Pfizer for the next few weeks too. The 176k is already in so 1.25 million doses of Pfizer for them in the next 5 weeks starting Monday the 29th. If we use the 2.13 multiplier for us that equates to 588k Pfizer doses alone in the next 5 weeks starting Monday the 29th.
Another one for the scandles, I’ve heard from a reliable source there are 6 month contracts going to manage the carpark at the Limerick vaccine Centre (in Clare), paid work plus vaccine
