The official assignee is entitled to take them and sell them but the secured debt remains valid
So if they are in negative equity the OA will just ignore them and let the secured creditor deal with them as it is of no wider benefit to the bankruptcy pot.
OA sole role in practical terms is to generate a dividend for unsecured creditors so they will only target cash flows and assets that are not (properly) already charged to somebody else
