Wallace making an absolute show of himself on local radio yesterday…claiming that the directors salaries of 290k was actually split between 3 people. And after PAYE and PRSI they were only getting 63k each. That’s all the got he said, an average of 63k each. As if the income tax and PRSI paid wasn’t part of their salaries.

The indo are claiming there were only 2 directors registered for that particular year.

He’s definitely getting some really bad PR advice. Anyone know who his advisers are?

Mick Wallace hints he won’t run for Dail again

Tax cheat Mick Wallace has suggested he will quit at the next general election.
After being shunned by fellow TDs following revelations of his €2.1m tax bill, Mr Wallace is also finding his increasingly bizarre outbursts are not going down well in his Wexford constituency. A public meeting on supporting local business, to which Mr Wallace invited Chambers of Commerce members from across the county, attracted an embarrassing turnout of less than a dozen.
Mr Wallace admitted the no- show was down to people feeling that “appearing with me could be compromising”. Mr Wallace indicated he may stand down at the next general election, the ‘Gorey Guardian’ newspaper reported last night.
“I am not sure that I am mad enough to run again,” he said.
Apart from his status as a tax cheat, Mr Wallace recently claimed he threatened to use a hitman to recoup an unpaid debt.
