Ridiculously over priced but a classy piece of kit. Almost no one will know what it is, and anyone who does will appreciate a seiko 5 just as much.

I wear a fifty quid plain Swatch. I’ve a 1969 restored Omega that I use for functions/good wear. I’ve a 1930s Swiss rose gold one that is in storage at my folk’s. Back in the punt days, an antique dealer offered us £3,500 for it in cash on the spot. The latter two are heirlooms which I’ll never sell. The Swatch works well if you’ve skin allergies/ tend to bash the face off a wall every now and then.

And what do you do if you drop your phone down the toilet? Or in @BruidheanChaorthainn’s case, say you go for a weekend in Dingle and forget to bring a charger?
