Waterford Hurling (now incorporating intermediate football) 2013 and subsequent years

Fuck sake :joy:

The Tipp legends team out this weekend would have reached the 2019 final FFS that’s how handy it was.

County Board meeting called for tomorrow night. Looking like Davy, unfortunately.

Can you enlighten us as to the s&c changes these players undertook?
DB is a pure hurler and his loss of form was terribly strange. It’s not like he is any stronger, faster or fitter than the 2017 vintage. Conlon was moved due to need. If we had another CB he would probably still be playing at 14. I’m not sure how s&c fits here either.

Age, total kilometres on the clock and injuries all have a huge bearing on a players physical performance.

On a team like Waterford which, at their peak, leaned heavily on a handful of excellent players the loss of form of these players will be felt far more than a more even team. Many injuries can chip away at a player and rob them of some athleticism. In all likelihood we have seen the best of TDeB and Barron. Two unique players and what do Waterford have to replace them?

Ozzy will be more isolated than Drogba at the Nou Camp!

Davy is box office.

Davy is box office. He’s just not a very good hurling coach/manager.

It’s some going to blag his way into another inter-county job after the two years he punched in, in Wexford in 2020 and 2021.

So he is

Whenever Galway fans are feeling down, Waterford come to our rescue.

Hurlings fittest family

As long as he is coaching a county other than your own.

You Clare boys can never accept what he has done for ye

Davy must love the N24 and the lovely hamlets along it. I wonder does he stop at the plaza in Tipp Town.

He stops in the Amber station at the Bansha side of the town. This is a great boost for the Tipp town economy.

They’ll get him a house below in Dunmore next to @Fagan_ODowd

Last year’s beaten County Finalists Roanmore had the honour of welcoming the mighty Thurles Sarsfields to town for tonight’s Box Office Industries Club Senior Hurling Challenge Game.

A full strength Thurles (other than the long term injured Ronan Maher) winning by a goal.

The games leading Official, Fergal Horgan was brought down from Knockavilla to take charge, bringing that “big game feel” to proceedings.

Roanmore probably dont have the mentality of a Mount Sion to beat Ballygunner but it would be good if they could close the gap a bit.

I wonder does Fergal be swayed by getting a couple of hundred euros off Sars every year for refereeing their challenge matches…

It is done

He doesnt ref Tipperary County Board matches anymore unless his dispute has been recently resolved.
