Waterford v Wexford - The battle for armchair supporter moral high ground

Lots of questions to be answered in this game. Will @croppy_boy make the trip down from Donegal? Will @Bandage be allowed go if Monaghan are playing at the same time? Will @Mac sober up long enough to realise the game is on?

A fascinating time to be alive.

2 facile wins against cannon fodder Kilkenny recently for both teams can act as an indicator as Wexford seemed to have to work that bit harder for their win. Waterford have the better hurlers but Wexford seem to have a better idea of what way they want play.

A 5 point win for Waterford in my opinion.

Monaghan won’t be playing at the same time. That will be a Saturday night Carlow game in Netwatch Dr Cullen Park.

Our game in Carlow is this coming Saturday, is it not?

@Horsebox doing hurling previews - what the fuck has happened this place?

They’ll win handier than Galway.

Wexford will win this, they have a better manager

This game will come down to the better sweeper and Shaun Murphy isn’t fit to lace Tadhg De Burcas boots.

Waterford by 6

I was in touch with a knowledgeable GAA man earlier who said that Wexford licked their Leinster Final wounds for a couple of days but have trained SAVAGE HARD for the last week and a half. They’ll taper down from now until next Sunday. #Insight

Stand tickets very hard to come by for this.

Waterford is a genuine hurling county, they’ll hurl Wexford back over the Blackstairs Mountains. They have way too much hurling nous and industry to be bothered by a crowd of Johnnycomelatelys. Waterford will beat them by at least 7 points.

The Sunbowl will sell out . The Clare v Tipp is 20 k ?? God be with the games in PUC from. 1997 to 2001 that sold out .

Although they normally got the better of us, those Tipp v Clare games in PUC were something else.
Atmosphere filled with pure hate and bellies full of beer. The beauty of PUC back then was no motorway and the stops in Mitchelstown, Fermoy, Rathcormac, Watergrasshill and Glanmire.
Simply stunning sessions regardless of the result. :pint: :pint:

Knock out games were great . Atmosphere , bitter atmosphere . Clare and Tipp were bitter rivals those years . Leahy , Liam Doyle etc .
