Waterford v Wexford - The battle for armchair supporter moral high ground

Duignan jumping on the moral high ground regarding the Sky/RTÉ debate and it turns out he has a column with The Daily Fucking Mail!

He hasn’t a breeze the dopey cunt.

he’s a walking contradiction. When it suits him, he’ll change his views on certain things.

What relevance does that have to the Sky debate?

No talk about Davy’s failures from the line yesterday, or of some poor performances - or on the stupid fouling Wexford seem to have inherited from Clare… It’s all about Michael Duignan - Davy is a master of the dark arts

Apologies if this has been remarked upon already. The curtain raiser yesterday was the All Ireland Intermediate Final. Cork got a bye to the final and Kilkenny had played one game to get there.

Duignan is the bigger fucking thick for not responding as such. He should outline the things that went wrong other than the sweeper system, as it wasnt the sweeper system that caused Wexford to lose. Maybe Davy is that clever though, launch a bomb at a big thick fucking biffo and he’ll take the ball on from there and Davy will be laughing away all day at the clown arguing about his 13 year underage record as a retort.

Offaly forced out “good Hurling man” Kevin Ryan because they didn’t like him imposing a sweeper on them. They want to play traditional Offaly hurling over there. Thrilling 15 on 15 stuff. The Offaly way.

Just on RTE radio now.Darren Frehill quoting the papers where Davy says he is going to take time out to think about next year, saying the drive is a killer.Sean O’Rourke translating this as saying that he is available for the Dublin job if terms are favourable.

We should get him on here

He’d be brilliant for Dublin and he has taken Wexford as far as he can take them. Get Cunningham and Kevin Ryan would be in the running to take over at Wexford.

I’m sure you can figure it out yourself with a little bit of time and thought, mate.

I’d translate that as I want even more money to keep doing it and two houses.

Competition had been replaced by something else hadnt it?

Each Wexford training session costs 2,300 euro before players expenses and meals.

We’ll take Derek off you.Isn’t this his last year with the Blaas.

Not replaced per se. Some Munster counties decided against competing in it to play in an U25 competition which in reality appeared to be an U21B competition. Galway pulled out and Wexford threw together a team a few days before the Leinster Final to fulfil the fixture against Kilkenny.

Duignan’s issue is with the GAA, not Sky itself

That chap is incapable of thinking outside the box or joining the dots - you’ll have to explain it to him as he only deals in straight talking black and white issues. - Even tho this is a straight talking black and white type issue.

Avoiding the N25 yesterday had a lovely drive back to Waterford via Watergrasshill, Conna, Tallow, Lismore and Cappoquin. Stopped in Tallow for refreshments. Had a jolly old time in McCarthys bar, which was full of “real hurling men”. Tallow is a border town and they hate their Corkmen there.

Lismore was its usual regal self and Cappoquin looked like the essence of rustic bliss. West Waterford is truly beautiful.
