Mate of mine skipped the mass. The first time I saw him and his wife was in Langtons and it dawned on me that they decided to give the Jesus bit a skip.
They have a young family, she was pregnant at the time and I’m not any way religious so it didn’t bother me in the slightest.

Just say “sorry we didn’t make it to the mass” when you meet them at the reception. If they’re anyway sound they won’t give a fuck

Ballybofey or anywhere east of that go through Omagh.
If you’re going to miss the Mass let them know. It’s the decent thing to do.

Depends. Two wives of friends have serious grudges about people missing their respective masses, “don’t think it wasn’t noticed” and “if you don’t come to the mass you don’t come to the weddibg” were two comments from them. Pair of fucking eejits. Don’t get caught.
