Just on that Mike, and very hard to try help girls lose weight, but Iād encourage her to change her eating habits as much as doing exercise, if not more to be honest. Iāve seen it so often where someone goes to the gym or does loads of exercise, but if they donāt change the food they eat, they go no where. Iāve seen huge results in some who did no exercise but changed their meals. If you do want some meal examples or types, feel free to PM.
Thanks for that. Weāve had a long chat about it. Shes going to see the doctor tomorrow for a check up. Luckily enough a friend of the family happens to be a dietician and has agreed to meet her over the weekend. Albeit breaking the lockdown rules but fuck it.
Help out any way ye can too, even if itās not ating a snackbox whilst she has her healthy food! Very easy to modify a diet and get big gains. Just small changes to bread, milk, gluten free stuff etc and just being better with snacks. Be surprised how much you can lose very quickly. The exercise will help tone rather than shed weight then.
Precision nutrition is a great resource. A few coaches offer it. But their Instagram is worth a look. Itās balanced.
Iād agree with that @iron_mike. Iām able to do fuck all exercise but I lost 2 and a half stone in a year just by changing what I ate and when I ate it.
Anyway how did you get the phone back?
Looks like it fell onto a newly chipped road and a few trucks ran over it.
As the man says, You canāt out run a bad diet
After I contacted work, they were able to ping it somehow. Sent me an e mail with the coordinates. Stuck it into the sat nav at work. It was a house ,located about 2 'miles from my place. When I went up they were more than happy to return it. Said they werenāt even able to answer it when it rang. Obviously when it fell off the car, within or somebody else drove over it and made pure shit of it. They wouldnāt here of taking money for finding it. By coincidence I met the son in Supervalu this evening. Hes only about ten. I slipped him a tenner and thanked them again
Why did they take the phone home as opposed to handing it in to the (presumably) garage where you were putting air in your tyres?
Ah yeah. Shur you know from the old Clare hurler days Fagan, I had my own issues when she was born. Much like yourself, I changed eating habits. But I always loved walking which helped no end. Used to walk from the middle of Clarecastle up to Flannans and back six evening gs a week.
@Gman, you are correct in what you say. Myself and the wife burden a lot of responsibility for it. After I got sick and when I was in the throes of it, it was easier a lot of the time to do the chipper/Chinese thing . This obviously had a knock on effect. Not on the youngest as she is a very active anyway. Look itās a very salvageable situation. But we needed her to come out and state she needed/wanted to do something about it before we could move forward as a family. I am very confident that we achieved that this week and it will no doubt I evolve every o e in the family having to adjust their eating habits in order to help her. Weāve got through a lot worse in the last few years.
Dunno kid. Maybe the phone didnāt fall off the car straight away and the could have found it on the road a few hundred yards away. Itās not a big deal anyway. Between the U.K and Ireland theres 650 of us on the road. They get the phones for nothing off Vodafoneās because of the contract. Plus ye all me know well enough to know that I am to put it kindly technically challenged so there was fuck personal stuff o it
In the fall?
Back to your habitat you
Good to see your family like bikes
#fuckcagers
Iāve failed. Iāll just have to buy her a big fuck off landrover for college
Mike, it will be a whole lot easier for her if the family participates. Ye all eat the same healthier together, does ye no harm, will make a huge huge difference to her ability to be consistent. I know of a few examples where the whole family participating makes all the difference.
Yes thatās what weāve decided. Pardon the pun but itās either full duck or no dinner. With some gentle pushing g over the last few weeks, we finally had the conversation over the weekend. I had left her a,one until after my operation and then finally when the uncertainty of the leaving g cert was put to bed, she finally came to us looking for help. To be honest, Iām looking forward to helping her. Even though I dont have weight issues myself, we could all do with eating a bit healthier. I know itās not going to be easy for her. Ut with the dieticians help we feel that we are givin6her the best possible start
No fizzy drinks anyway mate. Pure poison
Apart from sparkling water. I fucking love sparkling water
