Mattie Forde was chatting to one of the lads out in Gorey last night and told him that he was going back training with the county panel tonight. He wasn’t sure how he was going to get there but he’s hoping to be fit enough to start either the very latter stages of the league or the start of the championship.

Not sure if I can claim this as a TFK exclusive but we’ll see what happens.

Can’t agree with putting Gizzy in the full forward line when he’s the most enthusiastic and energetic player in the squad. He needs to be our most involved player and for that reason needs to be further out.

And if we follow your logic, we never have any chance of developing any new players in other positions, ever.
